Amuludu Farms and Allied Agro: 2023 Fourth Quarter Plan.

Amuludu Farms and Allied Agro: 2023 Fourth Quarter Plan.

Tomorrow sunsets the 4th Quarter of 2023. For us it is no ordinary quarter. It is going to be a quarter like no other, as it will mark our end of operating on borrowed money. We have run on borrowed money since inception, and that is not doing us well. No business with a future operates the way we have since done. We can do nothing about yesterday, but we can with today and tomorrow. And, that we will do.

Staffing: To aid in our drive we will bring in a Farm Manager to manage our marketing, sales, staffing, and other admin issues. The candidate is no stranger to the farm and company. She started in the same position at the on set of the company. She is no other than Omolara Olaniba. She starts work effective October 1st, 2023.

We are also bringing a Farmer on board. He would report, possibly the third week in October. He will be both hands on, planning, and coordinating. I want to give him most of Havilah to make profitable. His name is John. He is from Plateau State. Still more details to be worked out on his duties, etc. Wale Adeyemi will help with getting him settled in. He would help in bringing Farm Workers in January 2024.

Amuludun Habanero: We are getting 5 x 200 holes Nursery Tray to nurse 1000 seeds of Habanero. The plan will be to nurse this for one month and transplant to a to be determined acre in Goshen, most probably adjoining the existing Habanero section. Priority will be where best for the water line to irrigate it. The Nursery Trays will be delivered next week. Kelvin will take ownership of the nursing of this seeds. We will get labor to clear and transplant the seedlings.

Amuludun Super Habanero: We need to build a makeshift green house to nurse this. We need to mark out and agree on a location next week and start construction after our visit next weekend. The seeds have been ordered and should arrive the upper week. We are getting 10 x 120 slot Nursery Trays for this. We will target this for Havilah with irrigation.  Kelvin will take ownership of the nursing of this seeds. We will get labor to clear and transplant the seedlings.

Amuludun Dwarf Pawpaw: We plan to plant 1000 seedlings of Dwarf Pawpaw in Goshen, with irrigation. We will decide on where to site this and determine the water line part when we come next weekend. We will get workers to clear and plant these. The same workers will plant our 216 Palm Kernel Seedlings in Lebanon.

Amuludun Ijebu Garri / Cassava: We will coordinate harvest of our Cassava and processing of them with our production facility. We will discuss, plan and coordinate this.

These covers a summary of our plans for the 4th Quarter. It is not all inclusive, but sets the tone of the quarter.

Thanks.

Chief Farmer (CF)
